Abstract

Physicians who are focused on improving the U.S. healthcare system are overcoming challenges and improving outcomes through efforts to redesign how care is accessed, paid for, and provided. The expectations for the next generation of healthcare leaders are high and it will require a great deal of effort to transition the industry to a new level of operational excellence.
